Specific chiropractic adjustments - using a gentle force by hand or instrument, the chiropractic adjustment restores proper joint mobility, alignment, and function. Creating a vibration effect at the cellular level, ultrasound breaks down scar tissue and adhesions. This effect also promotes increased blood flow and cellular metabolism, speeding the healing process and reducing inflammation. Ultrasound is used to reduce muscle spasms, inflammation, and chronic trigger points.
Rehabilitative exercises - using a low tech approach, we provide effective, repeatable exercises to increase strength and flexibilty in areas of injury or chronic pain. Elastic bands, exercise balls, and balance boards are used in the office and home to achieve optimum results.
Myofascial release/ active stretching - trigger point therapy and percussion instruments are used to increase blood flow and reduce muscle tension. It is our philosophy that addressing the soft tissue issues along with the structural missalignments or fixations, is the most effective treatment.
